The Celestion FTR18-4080HDX is an 18 inch high quality sub bass woofer ideally suited to large ported enclosures.  It offers extremely low frequency performance with high power handling and features the following design highlights:

A cast aluminium chassis designed to minimise reflections back onto the cone.
Intelligent heat management with balanced airflow venting
A glass fibre loaded weather resistant cone with multiroll surround for reduced distortion at maximum excursion.
Dual suspension to provide optimum cone control at excursion extremes.
An inside/outside wound voice coil with fibreglass former for increased (1.5KW EIA) power handling.
